Beautiful sunrise to a fresh morning and sun all day - pilgrim completely recovered!---
Being woken up at my usual coffee hour by a succession of coughing fits from Ursula, one of the German ladies. They started getting up, then Hans got out out of bed and disappeared in the direction of the showers - all the while I had my coffee - having a short etappe I could take my time. I was dressed and ready by the time Hans reappeared. Ursula and Christiane took off in the direction of the camping restaurant where they were going to have breakfast. Hans asked could we go together as far as Gijon - yes, we could - and so we did. Before we left I gave him my spare shell - he had somehow missed the point where you could get one easily. As we deposited the key to our chalet in the camping letterbox there were Ursula and Christiane sitting outside the restaurant waiting for it to open.
Six km into the outskirts of Gijon and we found the two ladies ahead of us - they had taken a bus when the restaurant did not open! So for some time we walked in tandem until in the end we sat down in a bar and had breakfast together. After that the two women walked on, followed very soon by Hans who said it reassured him to see them ahead.
And there I was feeling somewhat abandoned. However I soon recovered and made my way into the town centre. Found a post office and got rid of my things, did a bit of shopping and for a long time I sat on a bench on the beach promenade watching the world go past until I decided to start going towards my hospedaje. This was quite a long walk because I had chosen a hospedaje on the western outskirts of the town thus adding a bit to today's and reducing tomorrow's etappe.
Arrived in my room I had a long sieste and then offered myself a treat: I went to have a haircut! Heavenly! Meal in my room, blog update and sleep - was rudely awakened by someone who had a bath at 1h30 am! My room was next to the bathroom! Then had great difficulties going back to sleep.."

Ai été réveillée à mon heure habituelle (pour prendre le café) et par une quinte de toux d’Ursula, une des deux allemandes. Elles se levèrent les premières, suivies par Hans qui disparu dans les douches et pendant ce temps je savourais mon café. Comme l’étape était courte, je pouvais prendre mon temps. J’étais habillée quand Hans a réapparu. Ursula et Christiane ont pris la direction du restaurant du camping pour le petit déjeuner. Hans m’a demandé si nous pouvions cheminer ensemble jusqu'à Gijon ce que j’acceptais. Avant de partir je lui donnais une coquille que j’avais en réserve, il avait omis d’en prendre une à un endroit où on en trouvait facilement. En déposant la clef de notre chalet dans la boite à lettre du camping, nous avons vu Ursula et Christiane assises devant le restaurant en attendant qu’il ouvre.
A Six kilomètres de la périphérie de Gijon nous avons vu les deux femmes devant nous, elles avaient pris le bus car le restaurant n’ouvrait pas. On a marché un moment ensemble jusqu’à ce que l’on s’asseye ensemble dans un bar pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Puis les femmes sont partie, suivies pas Hans que cela rassurait de les voir devant lui.
Et là je me suis sentie comme abandonnée. Mais je me suis vite reprise et me suis dirigée vers le centre ville, ai trouvé la poste, me suis débarrassé des mes affaires , ai fait quelques courses et ai fait une longue pause sur la promenade le long de la page à regarder les gens ; je me suis enfin décidée à aller vers mon lieu d'hébergement. Cela a été assez long car j’avais choisi un endroit dans la périphérie ouest de la ville afin d'allonger un peu mon étape aujourd’hui et de raccourcir celle de demain.
Je suis arrivée dans ma chambre ai fait une longue sieste et me suis occupée de moi : j’ai été chez le coiffeur : divin ! Repas dans ma chambre, mise à jour du blog et dodo. Réveil en fanfare par un individu qui a pris sa douche à 01H30. Ma chambre était contiguë à, la salle de bains. Ai eu du mal à me rendormir.
