Another day walking lightly because Michel, after putting me back on my path, took my heavy pack to the hotel where I was going to spend the night in Royan.
Very much appreciated - thank you again, Joseph and Michel!

This afternoon the Royan lifeboat will take me across the Gironde "embouchure" (can't think of the word in English - it is very much like the French) to the Pointe de Graves from where I have only 7 km to my camping at Soulac sur Mer.

And finally a remark on the weather: I am very lucky in that I have had a lot of overcast skies interspersed with brilliant sunshine but mostly at least a gentle breeze!"

Sur la route de Royan

Un autre jour où je marche léger car Michel, après m’avoir déposée sur le sentier, a été déposer mon grand sac à l’hotel où je dois passer la nuit à Royan.
J’apprécie beaucoup, merci Michel et Joseph.

C’est après midi le bateau de sauvetage de Royan me fera traverser l’embouchure de la Gironde jusqu’à la Pointe de graves d’où il me restera seulement 7 km à parcourir jusqu’à mon camping de Soulac sur Mer.

Et pour finir, un remarque sur les conditions météo : je suis très chanceuse car la météo fait alterner un ciel couvert avec des passages ensoleillés et la plus part du temps une petite brise.
